I have been so fortunate to receive the support and endorsements from the following people and organizations:
Ben Ku, is a recommended candidate.
Commissioner Ben Ku was named a 2022 Champion by the Progressive Change Campaign Committee, which recognizes candidates from around the country who are fighting for progressive priorities and looking out for the needs of everyday families.
I’m proud to support my colleague and my District 2 Commissioner, Ben Ku! I have enjoyed serving with Commissioner Ku over the past year and a half. He’s a good listener, a collaborator, and a hard worker! He truly cares about Gwinnett and is the only clear choice in this race. Commissioner Ku deserves your vote for the District 2 Democratic primary!
Commissioner Ku is one of Gwinnett County's strongest voices for the people of Gwinnett. Hard work is no stranger to Ben.
When he says "Ku For You", he really means it.
We suggest that the people re-nominate the current commissioner, Ben Ku, 40, a high-tech businessman of Tucker. We’ve been pleased to see the current commission continue the progressive leadership that Gwinnettians have come to expect. The commission members are working well together, and have a good vision for our future. Mr. Ku has shown his willingness to listen to the people and presents a solid understanding of what Gwinnett needs. We urge his nomination.
Since 2006 Georgia Stonewall Democrats have questioned candidates for public office on a variety of issues like equality, HIV funding & treatment, reproductive justice and many other progressive issues affecting our cities and state. In those early days, it was a proud few who stood with our community. Ben has demonstrated his desire to support progressive policies and fight for the important issues and concerns within our community.
I am proud to endorse my friend Commissioner Ben Ku for re-election to the Gwinnett County Commission. Ben and I have worked together to serve the people of Lilburn, Mountain Park, and Centerville and while I will no longer be serving in Gwinnett, I know that Commissioner Ku, as a critical senior member of the board, is the person we need to lead during this critical time as we move Gwinnett forward.
It is my honor to endorse Ben Ku for re-election to our Gwinnett Commission. Four years ago, Ben and I stood up to challenge the status quo in our shared community. Since that historic election in 2018, he has been a champion for our neighbors as an innovator on transportation issues, an advocate for community engagement and inclusion, and a modernizer of the county’s digital strategies. Gwinnett needs his continued leadership, and I am proud to support his candidacy.
Ben Ku has been a great champion for the City of Lilburn. I am proud to endorse Commissioner Ku for RE-election!
I am proud to again endorse and support Commissioner Ben Ku for re-election to the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners. I encourage everyone who lives in Lilburn, Mountain Park, and Centerville to vote for this established senior leader of Gwinnett. Ben continues to bring a thoughtful, forward-thinking, and innovative approach to the problems Gwinnett County faces. Combined with his desire to serve and represent all of the diverse communities in his district, he continues to be the kind of county commissioner we need in Gwinnett.
When scientists are given the opportunity to lead, we do so with logic and facts to do not only what’s right, but what makes sense. I have worked with Ben for 4 years to make real strides in Gwinnett. I enthusiastically endorse Ben Ku to continue the great inclusive work as my District 2 commissioner.
I can say that some of the greatest things we’ve been able to do for the local community in my area – from speed humps, to better zoning processes, to applying for planning funds to come here, to improving language access of county government – could not have been possible without Commissioner Ku, with whom I worked closely on these and many other things. The process of government can be frustrating, and there’s much to be done, but Commissioner Ku has listened to and engaged with the many (many) concerns and ideas that I’ve thrown at him on behalf of the community. That's the first step that every government official should (but doesn't always) take - and I'm so grateful Ben has.
I've worked with Ben on local issues and he truly understands what it is to be a civil servant. I'm proud to endorse him to continue to serve on the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners!
Commissioner Ben Ku is one of the senior members on the board of commissioners and we need to preserve that institutional knowledge particularly in someone who is a forward-thinking innovator. I know that he will continue to fight for our community and make sure the voices of the people are heard. Ben has always kept it 💯!
I support Ben Ku's re-election to the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners because he has demonstrated over the past four years a true commitment to excellence, efficiency, and effectiveness. Whether it's upgrading old systems, fighting for improved transit, or advocating for LGBTQ rights, I can always count on Ben to be a progressive voice for the people of Gwinnett.
Ben is dedicated to making meaningful change in his community and advancing progressive ideals and equity in Gwinnett County.
We have just concluded an historic legislative session for LGBTQ Georgians, and we know better than ever that if our movement toward full equality in Georgia is to continue to see success, it is imperative that LGBTQ Georgians and our allies are represented at all levels of government. It is vital for us to support and elect officials who are guided by a fundamental belief in LGBTQ equality and aren’t afraid to stand up and say so. Our first round of endorsed candidates represent some of LGBTQ Georgia’s best advocates. Georgia Equality has worked extensively with each of them in the past, and we’re excited to support their candidacies and continue to work with them after they win their races.
This election cycle presents enormous opportunities for our community, including the potential to dramatically increase the number of LGBTQ state legislators and win in Congressional swing districts against anti-LGBTQ challengers. These LGBTQ candidates are essential to defeating the wave of anti-LGBTQ legislation we see across the country and to pushing forward policies that are inclusive of our community. We are investing early in these races because that is when we can make the greatest difference – and winning in 2022 is more important than ever.
We have been supportive of Ben since the beginning and it is our honor to continue that support for his re-election. He has been an effective champion for equality, community development, and increasing the quality of life for Gwinnett citizens. We need his experience and expertise to continue building a strong Gwinnett.

Ben is a wonderful colleague and it is so refreshing to work with another pragmatist and fellow Asian American on issues that affect our community. As a doctor, I appreciate that he shares my views on COVID mitigation strategies and public health measures.
Ben has been a champion for infrastructure, inclusion, and innovation. I’ve enjoyed working with him on local legislation for Gwinnett and he is the only politician I know who is also a hands-on technology creator.
Ben listens to our community. We are fortunate to have him representing us.
Ben has worked tirelessly for the last 4 years to maintain the Gwinnett standard and to move us forward.

My endorsement of Ben Ku is based on his positions on the issues, two of which are Transit and Affordable Housing. Both of these are region wide issues that have been overlooked in Gwinnett county in the past, and impact the citizens across the Metro Area.
Ben has spent countless hours speaking with the people of Gwinnett County and hearing their concerns. From transit, to communication, to affordable housing, Ben will be an excellent advocate for the people of District 2 on the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners. I reconnected with Ben after telling my 9 year old daughter about Ben being my favorite person when I was 9! Gwinnett will be fortunate to have someone so caring and visionary representing them.
Having had the good fortune of growing up with Ben, the qualities that come to mind are kind, smart, outgoing, creative, compassionate and inclusive of all. Any community would be incredibly lucky to have Ben at the helm... I look forward to seeing all that manifests from his comprehensive ideas and forward thinking. The world needs more Ben Ku’s!
I had an opportunity to meet Ben Ku at a transportation meeting as well as another political function. I believe that Ben Ku has the heart of my district. He sees the importance of improving the public transportation in Gwinnett County which will greatly improve District 2. I believe that Ben Ku will listen to the people of District 2 and will represent the people and not a hidden political agenda.
Our choice is Ben Ku, 36, of near Lucky Shoals Park, a native [Georgian] and a Georgia Tech graduate.

He will implement transparency and simplicity at the ballot, through accessibility intiatives....Ben’s district includes the cities of Berkley Lake, Peachtree Corners, Norcross, and Lilburn. If you live in these cities, Ku is for you!
Ben has been one of my most active constituents and I am so happy he has stepped up to help me improve Gwinnett. Not only has he been a leader in his neighborhood, but he has shown dedication to the whole county and shares the distinction of alumni of the Gwinnett 101 program like myself, Duluth City Councilman Kirkland Carden, and Mayor of Norcross Craig Newton. He will bring a much needed voice to the local table.
These candidates are the present and future leaders of the progressive movement and the Democratic Party. They’re not just talking about what the party should be, or what our government should do — they’ve changed their lives in order to get sh-- done.
I have come to know Ben through the Gwinnett 101 Citizens Academy which is a 12 week program that aims to educate and empower residents to be active in civics and government affairs in Gwinnett County. With a competitive application process and only 30 participants being selected during the fall of 2016 cohort, Ben was that guy I could always call on for any supporting details throughout the duration of the course. He is approachable, always on time, and dependable. Ben is committed to serving our community not only as a business owner but by engaging others and encouraging them to be active citizens. He is an asset to the community, as well as a motivated and resourceful leader in Gwinnett County.
